“I love the forward and backwards approach of Pilates and movement. I love science and problem solving, rehabilitating bodies, improving people’s body pain/discomfort and restrictions, helping people with their wellness journey and being able to be creative with movement. What works for one person may not work for another. If we can’t do something one way, that is okay, we can move it another way. I love, love the human body and people – give it and us the right environment and our bodies work beautifully. Nothing is permanent in life and that is certainly true of the body – it is ever changing, and it loves to be challenged. What is so today, will not be that way forever. The Pilates method and variety of equipment allows us the flexibility to move and strengthen our bodies in ways we never knew we could.”

“Pilates is complete coordination of body, mind and spirit.”

“I have grown up being heavily involved in the creative world, having danced and played music for many years. I really do love the creative aspects of Pilates and movement, whether it’s problem solving to change a movement to suit the specific needs of a client, coming up with some partner work exercises or creating the perfect flowing routine of exercises for a session. I love creating fun sessions that challenge my clients to move their bodies in different ways that they aren’t used to, or they didn’t think they could. It is very common as an instructor to hear people say, “I’m not flexible enough to do Pilates”, or “my body won’t be able to move like that”. I work really hard to break down that barrier of fear and love seeing people realise that they actually can or will be able to achieve that. We can all move – it will probably look different to the person next to you, but that’s ok. We all have our own strengths and limitations that can always be improved on.”

“Every moment of our life can be the beginning of great things.” Joseph Pilates

“An amazing safe space where conscious movement is fostered in a way the body can embrace and feel fully supported. I highly recommend the investment in your physical and emotional wellness now and into the future.”
